Social secretary
Sambo has agreed to be the social secretary for 2010/11. We are going to be treated to some "nice but not too tacky" things to do.
Sporting Brixton 2010-11
Excellent news the important organisation and management roles have been filled which means Sporting Brixton will be playing in the 2010/11 season.
Korhan supported by Tomasz will be the general manager. They will be organising pitches, refs, the opposition, money and going to league meetings. They will keep the team manager informed about match dates.
Chris supported by Greg will be the team manager. They will be organising the squad for each game, texting the score to the league, sending match sheets to the league and managing the kit, nets, footballs, corner poles etc. They will aim to inform the captain of the squad by Friday lunchtime (the captain is still to be selected). The captain will then select the starting 11 and decide on substitutes.
I am personally very pleased that these guys have stepped up to take on the challenge of running the team.
